Adrian Peterson’s first day in court has been delayed.
The Minnesota Vikings’ star running back’s first court date concerning a charge of dangerous or negligent harm to your kid — his 4-year old son — continues to be transferred to Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. CT, the Montgomery County (Texas) District Attorney’s office supports to NFL Media. The arraignment will occur in the Ninth District Court.
Peterson was indicted Friday and faces up to a couple of years in prison as well as a $10,000 fine if convicted. He flew to Texas and turned himself in early Saturday morning to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and was released after posting a $15,000 bond.
The Vikings deactivated Peterson for Sunday’s match from the New England Patriots, but the team declared the 29-year old was reactivated and certainly will completely practice this week. He’s likely to play against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.
