It remains to be seen when Utah State star quarterback Chuckie Keeton will get his next centering for the Aggies, but word across the BYU program — which faces Utah State this week — is that Keeton will sit the remaining season using a medical redshirt.
"We heard something different today. I heard they are really medical redshirting him, as of now," said BYU defensive lineman Remington Peck. & quot;That may vary. If he’s there, clearly, itis a whole different deal along with his legs. He is great in the floor. You had need to prepare more to get a two dimensional quarterback. … As far as we know, they declared last night they’re medical redshirting him, but I still believe we have to get ready just in case he does not."
it’d be less than wise to presume an opposing defensive lineman has certain info on a player who wears a distinct jersey, but given that the teams play in four days, it would not take long for word on something like that to go from the Utah State locker room to BYU’s. Peck made his comments on BYUtv.
