PHOENIX — Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer continues to be officially charged with attacking his wife in two arguments in July at their Phoenix flat.
An indictment freely released late Friday charges Dwyer with felony aggravated assault and eight misdemeanors, including assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
Researchers say Dwyer broke his wife’s nose using a head butt during a July 21 discussion and participated in a dispute the next day in which he hit his wife and threw a shoe at his 17-month-old son, who was not injured.
Dwyer was arrested on Sept. 17 on suspicion of aggravated assault against his son, but the indictment does not charge him with any offenses related to the kid.
